Maid throws baby from 7th floor

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: Securitymen have unraveled the mystery behind the corpse of a baby found in Farwaniya Friday.

After conducting intensive investigations, police discovered the baby belonged to a Nepalese woman, identified as Del Komari, who confessed to securitymen that she threw the baby from the seventh floor of a building immediately after giving birth.

Acting on a tip-off, the securitymen rushed to an undisclosed location in Farwaniya but the baby was already dead. They searched the area until they found a nearby building which houses two domestic labor offices and a flat for housemaids. Some of the tenants told police the Nepalese woman went in labor. She has been charged with murder.

‘Suhour’ time thief: Police arrested a Kuwaiti who allegedly tried to break into the house of a compatriot in South Jahra Saturday.
The household head called police after he and other members of his family beat the suspect who, he claimed, broke into their house while they were preparing for Suhour.
The securitymen rushed to the location, arrested the suspect, and referred him to Taima Police Station for the necessary legal action. It was also reported that the suspect was drunk at the time of his arrest.

Wife, son beaten: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint with police against her husband, who allegedly beat her and their son in their house in Firdous Saturday. 
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving a call from the woman.  They then took the woman and her son to Farwaniya Hospital as they sustained injuries in different parts of their bodies.
A case was registered and police distributed copies of the suspect’s description to ease procedures for his arrest.
