Gun found on man: Police arrested a Kuwaiti military man in his 30s in possession of an unlicensed gun in Farwaniya on Saturday. Officers on routine patrol duty noticed the careless driving of the suspect and stopped him. The suspect is said to have become jittery which prompted policemen to check the car and they found the gun. The man was referred to authorities.

Car stuntmen held: A team of officers from Jahra Security Directorate, under the leadership of Security Chief Brigadier Mohammad Tana, conducted Saturday a massive campaign against car stunt performers in Block Five, Taima.
Tana formed the team right after receiving information on a group of youths performing car stunts in the area shortly before Iftar.
During the campaign, the officers arrested 10 youths who were performing car stunts on the road, impounded six vehicles, and issued 30 citations.
Tana confirmed the directorate will continue carrying out surprise campaigns in the area to stop reckless youths from performing car stunts, which endanger not only their lives but that of other road users as well.
