KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Security forces managed to arrest the man who stabbed his wife few days ago and escaped, after the officers circulated his details to the various checkpoints and security patrols across the country.
Sources said the suspect aroused suspicion of securitymen when suddenly he minimized the rate at which he was speeding, as he approached a security checkpoint in Jahra. So, the officers ordered him to stop for checking and they discovered he was wanted for an attempt to kill his wife. He was referred to the concerned authority for prosecution without delay.

Woman commits suicide: A Kuwait woman in her 40s who was rushed to the intensive care unit of a government hospital died after 24 hours later, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to reports the woman was living in Hawalli and she allegedly committed suicide by consuming a large quantity of medicine pills.
It is not known why the woman ended her life. According to family members they were shocked to find her sprawled on the floor and an empty medicine bottle lay near her. She was rushed to the hospital by paramedics but doctors failed to save her life. Police are investigating why the woman ended her life.
