Drug addict murders shepherd in revenge for altercation with dad

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: A 25-year-old Bedoun youth, under effect of  drugs, is said to have murdered a Bangladeshi shepherd off the Salmi desert.
According to security sources from the Jahra Security Command, the suspect had gone to the livestock pen belonging to his father the previous night, where he slaughtered a camel to eat at the site, and he attacked the shepherd for complaining about the action.
Later, the shepherd reported the case to the suspect’s father, who in turn condemned his son on phone for the unscrupulous act, whereas the youth threatened his father that he would take revenge. The suspect’s father kept calling the shepherd’s mobile phone, which he didn’t respond. Finally, he went to the pen to find out why the shepherd wasn’t answering the calls, only to discover he had died. The man immediately reported the incident to police and accused his son of killing the shepherd.
Meanwhile, the Jahra Security Chief Brigadier Mohammad Tana Al-Enezi, the Area Commanders for Taima and Jahra Lieutenant Colonel Falah Al-Shimmari and Lieutenant Colonel Salah Al-De’as led security officers to follow up the incident.
The officers managed to arrest the suspect at his father’s residence, while verification of his status revealed he had a previous drug related case with police.

Woman cheat caught: The Capital Governorate police have arrested an unidentified Egyptian woman for cheating businessmen and issuing them dud cheques worth KD 500,000, reports Al-Shahed daily.
 According to security sources the suspect promoted herself in the market as a business woman and purchased goods against post dated dud cheques.
The suspect was arrested after some businessmen filed cases against her.

Heroin found in jail: The Central Prison administration, during a surprise inspection campaign of the facility, is said to have seized from one of the prisoners 60 grams of heroin with a street value of KD 40,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reliable sources the inmate had been hospitalized for an unidentified sickness and when guards searched him thoroughly upon arrival at the prison they found the drugs on him.
During interrogation the inmate said he had agreed with the ‘suppliers’ to leave the drugs in the hospital toilet when he is discharged. The daily did not give more details. Interrogations with the man are continuing.
