KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: An Asian worker, in his 30s, died when he fell from Subiya Station Monday.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information on the incident, they discovered the victim has already succumbed to his injuries. His remains were referred to Forensics.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances which led to the victim’s death.

Jobless bedoun in drug trade : Anti-narcotics officers have arrested a Bedoun for trading in drugs with 1,000 narcotic pills in his possession.
After receiving information from a reliable source about a Bedoun drug dealer in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Director General of the Drug Control General Department (DCGD) Major General Ahmad Al-Khalifa instructed a team of securitymen to put the suspect under surveillance.  When enough evidence was gathered, the team obtained a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution and raided the suspect’s flat in Jleeb.  The team also found 1,000 narcotic pills and some small bags in the flat.
The suspect tried to resist arrest but the securitymen overpowered him and referred him to the concerned department for the necessary legal action. 
During interrogation, the suspect admitted the crime and told police that he was forced to trade in drugs as he is currently unemployed.

Girl harassed: A Kuwaiti girl filed a complaint accusing an unidentified person of harassing her on a street in Jahra.
Reportedly, the man followed the girl on the street and ultimately forced her to stop. He then claimed that he was a police officer and flashed his ‘police ID card’ which happened to be his bank card. The girl wasn’t fooled by his trick and lashed a verbal assault on him. The man is said to have fled from the scene immediately after that. The girl gave the suspect’s vehicle number to police and investigations are going on.

Woman molested: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with police against an Arab man, an employee at a shop for fixing tyres in Jahra Industrial Area.
According to the complainant, the suspect touched sensitive parts of her body when she went to the garage to change the tyres of her vehicle. A case was registered and police will summon the suspect for questioning.

Visit to girlfriend: A Kuwaiti called police after noticing a compatriot trying to break into his house late at night.
When the securitymen arrived at the scene, the complainant told them the suspect tried to rob his house. The suspect was then taken to a nearby police station for further interrogation. He later told police that he was in the house to visit his girlfriend.
A case was registered and investigations are underway to verify the suspect’s claim.
