"Can’t take anymore beating" - Asian Housemaid

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: An unidentified sponsor lodged a complaint at Jahra Police Station against his Asian housemaid, who allegedly escaped from his house.
The complainant provided police with a detailed description of the housemaid, copies of which have been distributed to various security checkpoints to ease the search procedures.
Sources revealed the sponsor has been beating the housemaid, almost everyday, until she got fed up with the abusive acts of her sponsor and escaped from the house. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to verify this information.

Youth stabbed: One youth was stabbed in the shoulder, with other injuries and serious fracture to his right hand, when he fought with two other youths.
Acting on information received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry about the incident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene, and the injured youth was sent to the Adan hospital for treatment.
Security sources said the rest of the feuding party fled the scene before police arrived. The case was registered for investigation.

Forged currency found: Police apprehended a 49-year old Asian national with forged KD 80 currency in his possession at a grocery store in Jleeb Shuyoukh.
Sources said the suspect aroused suspicion of police when he became confused after seeing the officers there, which prompted them to ask for his ID.
The officers are said to have gone ahead to conduct a search on him after they discovered he had valid residency. However, forged currency was found, so he was referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Asian caught drunk: An Asian expatriate was taken into custody after police caught him driving under the influence of alcohol at a checkpoint in Jleeb Shuyoukh.
The man is said to have been driving without concentration, and police requested that he parked the car by the roadside. The officers noticed he was heavily intoxicated when they began interrogating him. He was then referred to the relevant authority for further investigation.
