KUWAIT CITY, Aug 8: A housemaid and her boyfriend were referred to authorities for committing an immoral act in her sponsor’s house in Jahra area.
Sources say the couple spent the night together and then set fire in the maid’s room to cover their crime and ran away. However, the sponsor’s son caught the boyfriend who then admitted that he slept with the maid. A case was registered.

Drunk couple: Two Kuwaitis, a man and a woman, believed to be in their 30s and 40s respectively, were arrested for consuming alcohol on Wafra Motorway. Police also recovered two bottles of liquor from their vehicle and referred them to authorities.

Kuwaiti arrested: Securitymen have arrested a Kuwaiti wanted by law for his involvement in a financial case, as he had earlier been charged with duping someone to the tune of KD13,000.
In compliance with the instruction of acting head of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Security Directorate Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, the securitymen intensified their efforts to track down criminals, leading to the arrest of the Kuwaiti in Subhan. He was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
According to the officers, they will continue monitoring the area to curb the rising crime rate.

Antiques stolen: A Kuwaiti man filed a complaint at Qairawan Police Station, saying thieves stole antique items worth thousands of dinars from his house in Nahdah. He said thieves broke into the house and on not finding money, stole the antiques. Securitymen are working on the case.
