Arab man, Syrian and Austrailian women high on Vodka Parked vehicle’s wheels stolen

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: A Syrian expatriate in his 40s filed a case in Hawalli police station against thieves who stole the wheels of one heavy duty vehicle belonging to a certain company. According to the man, he discovered the wheels were missing after he came out from his house in the morning. The case was registered.

Women, man held ‘drunk’: The Hawalli police have arrested three people — an Arab man and two women, one Syrian and the other Australian — for drinking alcohol. Police have also seized from them a bottle of vodka and referred them to the concerned authorities, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to reports the ‘drunkards’ were caught in Salmiya while driving along the Arabian Gulf Road.
They have been referred to the Rumaithiya Police Station.


Mobile phone shop robbed: A Kuwaiti man in his 30s filed a case with police officers in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh against an unidentified person who broke into his mobile phone shop and made away with eight phones plus KD 240 in cash.
The man explained an Asian worker at the shop called to notify him about the theft. Criminal Evidences men rushed to the scene and took samples of fingerprints to trail the suspects. The case has since been registered for investigation.

4 bottles of liquor seized: Secu-ritymen arrested two Bedouns in their 30s in possession of four bottles of imported liquor and one finger of hashish in Sulaibiya area Thursday evening.
Police patrols on routine duty had stopped the suspects’ vehicle and asked for their identity cards. They then checked the car and on finding the contraband, referred the Bedouns to authorities.

3 beat up military man
: A Kuwaiti military man working for the Ministry of Interior has filed a complaint with the Shuwaikh Industrial Area police station accusing three unidentified people of beating him, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The incident happened when the victim visited the General Traffic Department to check on some documents.
The man is said to have submitted a medical report showing injuries on his body.
The assailants have been arrested and referred for interrogation.


Women injured in accident: Two Kuwaiti women who were injured following a two-vehicle collision on a road in Sulaibikhat have been admitted to the Jahra Hospital, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Without going into more details, the daily said traffic was disrupted for more than one hour.

Police hunt baby’s mom: Police are looking for the mother of an unidentified baby boy barely a few hours old who was found abandoned at an unidentified location in a suburb of Jahra, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the baby was placed in a basket on a cushion of old clothes.
When a Kuwaiti man came across the baby, he informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and took the department dispatched paramedics to the spot and took the baby to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital.
