Son steals his father’s ATM card, withdraws KD 25,000 from bank

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: A Kuwaiti youth, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been arrested by the police for stealing the ATM card of his father and stealing KD 25,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
The theft was discovered when the father filed a complaint with the Sabah Al-Salem Police Station accusing an unidentified person of stealing his ATM card and withdrawing the money.
Police investigations led to the arrest of the man’s son. During interrogation the son is said to have admitted to the charge.
He is detained at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station.

Guard assaulted, bike stolen:
A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing three youths in dishdasha of stealing the motorbike of his employee who worked as a guard on the farm, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint to the police the Kuwaiti said the guard was on his way to the farm after refueling the bike at a petrol station.
The suspects, who looked like as if they had lost their way, stopped the man and asked him for direction. When the guard said he did not know, they allegedly beat him mercilessly, stole his motorbike and left him to die on the side of the road and escaped.
Police are looking for the youths.

CID to summon ex-MP: The head of the Jahra Investigation Department Mohammed Al-Mutairi has issued a directive to the Criminal Investigation Department to summon former MP Mohammed Al-Juwaihel for interrogation following 12 complaints which have been filed by an unidentified Kuwaiti family, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
In the complaints the family accuses Al-Juwaihel of making derogatory statements about the family during an interview on the Al-Sour Satellite channel in addition to threatening to publish the family photos on an Internet website.

Gun shown to mechanics: Police are looking for an unidentified man, believed to be a Kuwaiti, who allegedly walked into the garage where two Iranians work and asked the men to repair his jet-ski, reports Al-Anba daily.
It looked like the man was in a hurry and when the Iranians said it will take some time for them to repair his jet-ski, the man apparently got angry and pulled out his gun.
The daily did not give more details.

Two narrowly escape death: Two Kuwaitis — a 17-year-old and his 19-year-old female compatriot — narrowly escaped death when their vehicle overturned on the Fahaheel Expressway opposite Bayan, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to eyewitness reports the youth behind the wheel was speeding and he apparently lost control causing the vehicle to overturn.
Acting on information paramedics, police and firemen rushed to the spot and contained the situation.
The injured were taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
