KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Securitymen arrested an Asian housemaid and her boyfriend for indulging in immoral activities in Nahda area.
Sources say the maid’s Kuwaiti sponsor heard some strange sounds coming from her room and on investigating, found the maid in a compromising position with an Asian man. He then locked the couple inside and called the Operations Room which dispatched securitymen to the scene.
During interrogation, the Asians said they were having an affair since some time and that they regularly met each other at the same place.  A case was registered.

Driver flees with sheep: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 50s told police officers in Kabad about driver of a truck (an Arab national) who fled with 18 sheep.
The man had requested the driver to deliver the sheep to another Kuwaiti. However, the driver absconded with the sheep. The complainant provided police with registration number of the truck, and details of the suspect. The case was registered.

Horses, pigeons stolen: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s filed a case against thieves who raided his stables and stole two horses worth KD 1,800, plus 30 pigeons in Kabad.
The man was surprised when he visited the stables and noticed it had been broke open, with the animals missing. The case has since been registered for investigation.

Missing teen nabbed: A 19-year old citizen, absconding from his family residence in Ferdous area for two weeks, was arrested by securitymen in Hawalli area at late night. Police discovered the citizen had been registered missing when police checked his data. He was referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Heroin found on man: Security officers apprehended a motorist in possession of two grams of heroin and related tools, including needles, at a checkpoint in Salmiya.
Sources said the officers noticed the abnormal behavior of the motorist and requested him to stop for checking, whereas they discovered the materials inside the car. He was referred to the concerned authority without delay.
