Tough resistance saves woman from rape by army recruit Duo caught drunk on Kabad motorway
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: Police are looking for a Ministry of Defense employee who allegedly harassed and molested a Kuwaiti woman in Sabah Al-Salem area, reports Al-Rai daily.
The woman filed a complaint, saying when she was passing by a wedding hall in the area, the accused forced her to park her vehicle on the roadside and molested her. She said when she gave a stiff resistance, the man ran away.
A security source said the complainant knew the accused and gave his contact details. Securitymen tried to call him on his mobile phone, but it has been switched off. They then went to his house, but the suspect was not found. Investigations are going on.
Duo held drunk: Police arrested two men for consuming alcohol with two bottles of imported liquor in their possession.
While patrolling along Kabad Motorway, the securitymen noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle, so they signaled for the driver to pull over. When they demanded for the identification documents of the driver and his companion, police realized both men were intoxicated. This has prompted them to roughly check the vehicle until they found two bottles of imported liquor.
A case was registered and the two men referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
Driver robs sponsor: A Kuwaiti has lodged a complaint at Andalus Police Station against his Asian driver, who allegedly stole KD 500 from his car.
According to the complainant, he left KD 500 in the vehicle, and then his driver went to the petrol station. However, he discovered the money was missing when he checked the car upon the driver’s return to his home.
A case was registered and police will summon the driver to interrogation to verify the Kuwaiti’s claim.
Drugs, phones seized: A security team at the Central Jail conducted a surprise inspection campaign Monday, resulting in the confiscation of 11 narcotic pills, two rolls of hashish and mobile phones.
Acting on information that some of the inmates have drugs and mobile phones, the team inspected each cell and they found the forbidden items in the possession of some prisoners, who were referred to the concerned security department for questioning.
