KWAIT CITY, Aug 1: The cry of a new-born abandoned by the parents at a parking lot in Al-Rai led to the baby being discovered by a Kuwaiti citizen. Apparently, the little one was crying as a result of hunger.
According to security sources, the citizen carried the baby and went ahead to call the Operations Rooms. A rescue team arrived at the scene shortly, where the baby was given first aid and later referred to the Farwaniya hospital for treatment. Securitymen have since started investigations to trace the baby’s parents, while the case has been registered.

Man found drunk: A citizen in his early 20s, who was found unconscious inside a car, was referred to the concerned authority after police officers on patrol in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Jaber Al-Ali areas noticed he was heavily intoxicated, with a bottle of liquor beside him. A case was registered against him.

2 hurt in fight: Two Egyptians sustained serious injuries in various parts of their bodies when they engaged in a fight with three other compatriots in Fahaheel. The injured men were sent to the Adan hospital for treatment, and the rest of the feuding party was arrested by police.
The case was registered for investigation.

Drunk doing stunts: Police on Saturday arrested an unidentified motorist for performing car stunts on the road and consuming alcohol in front of a coffee shop in Riggae.
Securitymen rushed to the scene after receiving a call from a passerby, who witnessed the motorist perform car stunts on the road, endangering not only his life but also that of other road users. When police approached the motorist, they realized he was under the influence of alcohol. He was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
