Maid and Driver caught in act
KUWAIT CITY, July 31: A Kuwaiti man lodged a complaint against his housemaid and her lover after finding them engaged in an immoral act inside his residence in Bayan, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Kuwaiti told police he heard a man’s voice from the room of his housemaid, so he opened the door to check and he was surprised to find them engaged in an immoral act. He immediately reported the incident to the police who rushed to the scene and arrested the lovers, who are now detained at Bayan Police Station.
During interrogations, the housemaid’s lover — a driver — revealed he has been visiting the woman regularly as they have a secret affair.
2 hurt in ‘honour’ fight: Two young men sustained injuries after engaging in a fistfight with seven other youths, who allegedly harassed their female relatives, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sources revealed the seven youths chased some girls driving along a road in Sharq. One of the girls’ male relative, who happened to be with them at the time, called his brothers, informing them that five cars were following their vehicle. The relatives then advised the girls to drive towards a roundabout in Waha. The seven youths continued to trail the girls and they were surprised to find the girls’ relatives waiting for them near the roundabout. A huge fight ensued between the two groups, resulting in multiple injuries to two of the girls’ relatives.
Securitymen and medical emergency personnel rushed to the scene after the Operations Room received information on the incident. They referred the injured to Jahra Hospital.
A case was registered and securitymen are now looking for the youths who caused injuries to the girls’ relatives.
Citizens, expats duped: Hawalli investigations department men arrested an Arab expatriate who was duping citizens and expatriates by ‘selling’ them other people’s apartments located in an Arab country, reports Al-Rai daily.
The department received several complaints from victims who said when they went to claim their property, they came to know that the apartments belonged to someone else.
A security team was formed to search for the suspect in Kuwait and police discovered that the suspect was using the mobile numbers of deported expatriates to cover his tracks.
After intense investigations, securitymen arrested the suspect who first denied, but later admitted his crimes.
