KUWAIT CITY, July 29: The parents of a girl have filed a complaint with police against a boy for allegedly harassing their daughter.
According to the complainants, the boy, who lives in their neighborhood, has been calling their daughter and leaving love letters in their doorstep despite their repeated appeals for him to stop. 
A case was registered and police summoned the boy for questioning.

Girl hurt in fight: A Kuwaiti woman in her early 20s was severely injured when she engaged a compatriot in a public brawl in front of a multi-purpose hall in Mubarak Al-Kabeer. Rescue officers promptly arrived at the scene to maintain order when the Operations Room received information in that regard. The injured person was referred to the Mubarak hospital for treatment, while the case was registered for investigation.

Iranian girl missing: The parents of a 20-year-old Iranian woman have filed a missing person report on their daughter at the Sulaibiya Police Station.
The parents told police their daughter left their house a few days ago and has not returned since then. They called her mobile phone but it was off. They also asked her friends and their relatives but nobody knows her whereabouts. They provided police with a detailed description of their daughter, copies of which were distributed to various check points to ease the search procedures.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti filed a missing person report on his 19-year-old brother at Firdous Police Station.
The Kuwaiti told police his brother left their house after a heated argument between them three days ago and he has not returned since then. He provided police with a detailed description of his brother and investigations have started to find him.

Man beats drunk brother: A Kuwaiti man lodged a complaint at Firdous Police Station against his 26-year-old son, who allegedly beat his brother when he returned home from a drinking spree.
    Securitymen rushed to the location after receiving a call from the Kuwaiti but the suspect tried to attack them. However, they overpowered him and referred him to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Egyptian worker injured: An Egyptian suffered from multiple injuries when an iron piece fell on him while working in an under construction house in Abdullah Al-Mubarak Tuesday.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the incident. They referred the Egyptian to Farwaniya Hospital.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances leading to the incident.

Kuwaiti, Asian in fight: A Kuwaiti and an Asian sustained injuries in different parts of their bodies after engaging in a fistfight in Kabad.
Securitymen and medical emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene after the Operations Room received information on the fight. They referred both men to Farwaniya Hospital.
A case was registered and investigations are underway to establish the circumstances leading to the incident.

Woman says harassed: A Kuwaiti woman filed a case with police officers in Surra against an Arab man who harassed her now and then with the love messages he sends to her mobile phone.
According to security sources, the woman discovered the man works at a video production shop, and he got access to the number because she is a customer of the shop. A case has been registered against the man, and he will be called for investigation.
