‘Psycho’ held hugging girls


KUWAIT CITY, July 23: A youth, whose identity has not been disclosed, was referred to psychiatric hospital after he was caught hugging girls on streets in Salmiya area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Securitymen, on learning about the youth’s behavior, had rushed to the area and arrested the youth. But soon they realized that he had psychiatric problems and referred him to the hospital.

Kids’ passports not given: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing his former wife of refusing to give the passports of his children, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In his complaint the man said he wanted to take his children for vacation and when he went to the house of his former wife to get their passports, she rebuffed him.
When a police officer called her to know about the incident, she allegedly told him to stay away from family matters.
The daily did not give more details.

Police arrest wanted man: Police patrols arrested a 36-year-old Kuwaiti, who had five cases registered against him, and referred him to authorities. The wanted man was apprehended when he was driving at a very late hour in Thaher area on Thursday.

Drunk motorist held: A drunken motorist was arrested by officers on routine patrol along the Wafra Motorway after they spotted him driving in an erratic manner and they ordered him to stop only to discover he was heavily drunk. The officers also found a bottle of imported liquor, during a search they carried out inside the car. He was referred to the relevant authority for further investigation.
