Cashier sexually harasses girl; Father ‘better’ than son 200 visas for 4 salons

KUWAIT CITY, July 18: Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen arrested a cashier working at a cooperative branch for sexually harassing a young girl, reports Al-Rai daily.
The cashier, 37, reportedly took advantage of the fact that the girl was the only customer at that time and approached her under the pretext of helping her. Allegedly, he then attacked her and tried to kiss her, but the girl beat him with her handbag and ran home where she reported the incident to her brother and he filed a complaint at Adan Police Station.
Securitymen immediately arrested the cashier, but he denied the charges. A source said the prosecutor released the suspect after he promised to come on Sunday for further investigations.

Sorcery tools seized: Hawalli securitymen are looking for an unidentified woman who was seen throwing sorcery tools  randomly in a mosque in Hateen area, reports Al-Anba daily.
Sources say a Kuwaiti woman noticed a veiled woman behaving strangely in the mosque and when she confronted her, the latter ran away. The woman then called the Operations Room and securitymen immediately rushed to the place. On searching the place, they found 10 small bags containing sorcery tools.

Father ‘better’ than son: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti man who was driving away with the car belonging to his son, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the son was driving along a road in Salmiya and police ordered him to pull over for violating a traffic law and driving a car with tinted glass.
However, when the police were in the process of impounding the vehicle, the son telephoned the father.
The father arrived on the scene and without a word got into the vehicle and drove off in full view of the cops.
A case has been registered against the father at the Rumaithiya Police Station.

Secretary beats dept head: The head of the Health Care Center of the Jahra governorate Dr Ali Al-Taher has filed a complaint with the Al-Naeem Police Station in Jahra accusing the secretary of the Abdali polyclinic of beating him with his headgear, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to reports this happened because Dr Taher had not included the name of the suspect in the list of allowance for ‘excellent’ work.

200 visas for 4 salons
: A senior employee working for the Ministry of Interior has been referred for investigation for issuing visas for four salons, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the suspect has facilitated the issuance of 200 visas for the four salons through illegal means.
The daily did not give more details. However, investigations are continuing.
