Dad tries to kidnap kids
KUWAIT CITY, July 16: A Kuwaiti woman told police officers in Rehab that her former husband was trying to kidnap her children.
The woman narrated the housemaid had called to inform her about the event, saying her former husband was forcing entry to their children’s room to take them away.
However, the man left the house after the woman rushed home and argued with him in that concern. Police have taken details of the ex-husband, and he will be called for interrogation.
Filipina attempts suicide: A Filipino woman in her 30s tried to commit suicide by consuming a large quantity of medicines. Acting on information, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene and got her admitted in the intensive care unit of Farwaniya Hospital.
A case of attempted suicide was registered against the woman.
20-yr-old daughter ‘missing’: A Kuwaiti woman, about 48 years old filed a case in Rabiya police station and reported that her 20-year-old daughter left home two days ago after a minor disagreement between them and did not return.
The woman added that all attempts to look for her daughter at friends and relatives’ home have been unsuccessful, while her mobile is switched off. The girl’s details have since been circulated at security checkpoints.
Youngsters found intoxicated: Four Kuwaiti youngsters who were found loitering in Riqqa area were arrested by patrol officers after they discovered the youngsters were intoxicated. During interrogation, they confessed to buying the liquor from an Asian expatriate. They have since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
