Dependent visa age limit for a Son

Recently, I went to Shuwaikh Passport Office for a visa for my son whose date of birth is May 1994. Though all related papers and salary were acceptable I was told that children/sons above 14 years of age are not eligible for dependent visas. Upon checking with some related web pages I found this age limit as 21.
Please advice me what other formalities I have to complete to get a visa.

Answer: Yes, the age limit to sponsor sons is 21 years and no new restriction has been imposed. You should approach the head of the Dependents Visa Department and point out the problem to him. Yours is the first case which has been brought to our notice and as we said above, the age limit for sponsoring has not been reduced to 14 years.

try ur luck.Srivi | 7/17/2010 11:27:27 AM Dear Ehsan ul hag, Your case should be studied thoroughly, the actual reason for rejection. Dependant visa is open for regular cases. Security reasons & Pakistan related reasons, are at the discretion of manager to approve. Nobody can justify reason, as visa possible or not. Try ur luck.

Try in some other counter, after 3 daysSrivi | 7/15/2010 10:22:23 AM Yes, 14 years is wrong. The counter person, not fully aware of that rule. Wrongly rejected your application. Try once again, in another counter, after 3 days. Different rules for different persons. Best of luck.
