Runaway maid, Arab expat fight over ‘fun’ money

KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Police have taken into custody an absconding maid and an Arab man for fighting inside a building compound, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports an unidentified person called police when he saw the man and the woman throwing insults at each other.
When police the couple into custody they discovered the woman is a runaway maid and the Arab man refused to pay her after having fun with her.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Drug traffickers nabbed: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested three Egyptians for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the suspects were frequenting cafés and public places to promote their trade.
Acting on information the Director-General of the Mubarak Al-Kabir Col Waleed Al-Duraiei formed a team, set a trap and caught one of the suspects red-handed. The arrested man then led police to his accomplices.
The men have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

CCTV traps thieves: Police are looking for four unidentified juveniles who allegedly broke into a shop in Jahra and escaped with 10 expensive Blackberry cell phones, reports Arrouiah daily.
According to reports the theft was discovered by the manager and the staff of the establishment when they went to work in the morning. They found the lock on the door was broken.
However, when they checked the CCTV camera they saw four youths busy stealing the phones.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identity the culprits.

Iron thieves caught: Three teenagers were arrested by police officers on patrol, with stolen iron rods in Wafra.
Security sources said the officers spotted the vehicle and requested the driver to pull over for checking, whereas two other teenagers were found inside the car.
According to sources, the suspects became confused as they were being questioned by the officers.
Meanwhile, iron rods were found when the officers went ahead to search inside the car, so the suspects were sent to the concerned authority for necessary action, and the case was registered for investigation.

Syrian robbed: A Syrian expatriate in his 40s filed a case in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police station against thieves who stole KD 200 cash and other items from his home. Criminal Evidences Men went to the scene and lifted fingerprints from the scene, and the case was registered for investigation.
