Speaking on the occasion, Al Nafisi said: “The lesson Al Mazaya has learnt in light of the current economic situation, both in the GCC markets and worldwide, is the necessity to diversify revenue sources to cater to the diverse demand and to protect assets. This integrated medical complex, which is offered for rent, forms part of this approach. Clover Clinic aims to address the lack of some modern medical specialties. It is the first of its kind in Kuwait, and is expected to expand to most neighboring GCC countries that are looking for top quality medical services at competitive rates.
“Awarding the contract to Dr Al Ghanem is a step forward, and in line with the vision of the project to award the operation and management contracts to experienced parties who are constantly able to develop medical services at reasonable rates in order to cater to the needs of large groups of people from Kuwait and the region.

That said, Al Mazaya is currently engaged in issuing the necessary licenses to connect the power to the project. We expect this to be completed shortly, hopefully enabling the project to be opened to patients in October,” he added.
Said Dr Al Ghanem: “Up until Al Mazaya developed Clover Clinic, we had been seeking an integrated complex with modern medical standards and multiple medical specialties to cater to the people’s needs. This medical center is the first step, to be followed by an integrated medical center and a specialized treatment center in accordance with our future vision of the project, in co-operation with doctors working on the project.”
Dr Al Ghanem has over 25 year experiences in healthcare sector. He has held a number of senior positions in the Ministry of Health and the private sector. Al Ghanem’s experiences range from clinics to healthcare management and medical services.

Clover Clinic, the first integrated medical complex in Kuwait and Al Mazaya’s first investment in the healthcare sector, extends over an area of 4,000m2 in Jabiriya District, one of the most vital areas in the heart of Kuwait.
