Jahra teenager hacks into MoE website ‘You’re unable to protect it’
KUWAIT CITY, July 8: A 15-year-old teenager allegedly broke into the website of the Ministry of Education for 48 hours, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The hacker has allegedly left a message saying he is a resident of Jahra and that the ministry is unable to protect its site.
It has been reported the security authorities are pursuing some hackers from Jahra for intruding into official sites.
It has also reported some youngsters from Jahra managed to hack the site of Barcelona Club and replaced its logo with that of Real Madrid Club.
Man falls dead: The remains of an unidentified 50-year-old man who was found dead face down in front of his home in Khaitan have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the death was discovered by one of his roommates and he called police.
The cause of the death is not known.
‘Haaris’ beats up woman: An unidentified Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing a male compatriot of beating her, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to reports the suspect is a building watchman and the victim parked her car blocking the entrance of the building.
When the watchman asked the woman to move her car, she stood her ground which ended in the man beating the woman. The daily did not give more details.
Boisterous manager: An unidentified employee of the Central Bank of Kuwait has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing his manager of insulting him and attempting to beat him in front of customers, reports Al-Rai daily. Police have summoned the manager for interrogation.
Hawkers in trouble: The emergency team from Kuwait Municipality branch in the Capital Governorate has launched a surprise inspection campaign in the area to track down hawkers and others who have violated the law, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting head of the team Tareq Al-Qattan.
Al-Qattan disclosed the campaign covered Qadsiya, Daiya, Adeliya, Rawdah, Shamia, Yarmouk, Mirqab, Sulaibikhat and Doha. He said the team confiscated a large quantity of expired food products, used clothes, pirated DVDs and fish not fit for human consumption, in addition to the issuance of citations to those found to have violated Municipality regulations.
Dancing on escalator: An unidentified Jordanian was arrested by the Kuwait International Airport security authorities and taken to the Psychiatric Hospital because prior to his departure for Jordan he took off his shoes and began jumping on the electric escalator, reports Al-Shahed daily.
It has been reported the man is holding a temporary residence (Article No 14) and soon after completing the immigration formalities, he behaved insane.
According to reports psychologists have confirmed that he is suffering from psychological problems and advised his referral to the hospital.
Fraud held with drugs: The Ahmadi police have taken into custody an unidentified Kuwaiti man who was wanted by law in connection with four financial frauds worth KD 5,000, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
It has been reported the man was arrested while driving along the coastal road in Mahboula. During a search of his car police are said to have also seized from him 52 drug pills. He has been referred to the concerned authorities.
Fight over parking: Two men — a Kuwaiti and an Egyptian — who fought over a right to park the vehicle in the parking lot of an unidentified commercial complex off the Arabian Gulf Street, have been referred to the authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The men were arrested by the Ahmadi police.
