KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Members of two families who were involved in a fist fight in front of their chalets in Julai’a have been arrested and taken to a police station, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the fight took place when a youth from one family molested a girl from another family.

Kuwait and Egyptian brawl: An Egyptian suffered from injuries in different parts of his body after engaging in a fistfight with a Kuwaiti near the Jahra Roundabout recently.
Eyewitnesses told police the two men were driving near the roundabout when they suddenly stopped on the side of the road and beat each other. Apparently, they had a disagreement over the right of way and their argument escalated into a fistfight. The Egyptian was taken to Amiri Hospital.
A case was registered at Salhiya Police Station and investigations are underway to determine the actual circumstances leading to the fight.

Maid assaulted: A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint against an Arab who allegedly tried to sexually assault his housemaid in front of his house in Ahmadi.
According to the complainant, he saw the suspect trying to assault the Asian woman, so he immediately reported the incident to police. A case was registered and police will summon the Arab for questioning.

Jleeb road closed: The General Traffic Department (GTD) has announced the closure of the extension of Mohammad Bin Al-Qasem Road in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh for two months, starting from Sunday at 1:00 am.
In a press statement Thursday, the department advised the motorists to use a diversion road in the area to Farwaniya Bridge on the Sixth Ring Road and Jleeb Cooperative Society Bridge on the same road.
