What are you planning to do?
I HOPE the recent decline in the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) index is not part of a plan to harm the citizens and the entire nation. It is unfortunate that we do not usually take a firm decision under such circumstances. We should have addressed the problem earlier, instead of using technical or financial language to justify the decline, which might lead to a horrible disaster.
Kuwait owns the KSE and other financial institutions, such as Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) and Public Authority for Social Security (PASS). The stock market needs to reassure the public rather than beating around the bush. I want to ask them, “What do you want from us? What are you planning to do?”
Forgive us!
