KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Police have arrested two young Egyptians for harassing a Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the woman was driving and the suspects followed her wherever she went.
The woman telephoned her husband, who is believed to be an army officer in the Kuwait Army holding the rank of a captain who reportedly rushed to the place and witnessed the incident himself.
The officer reportedly beat the youths and handed them over to the Shamiya Police Station.

Barred for insulting officer: An Egyptian man who insulted and humiliated a police officer at the Kuwait International Airport has been barred from traveling and is behind bars at the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the Egyptian was arrested at one of the gates because he insulted the officer during a customary body check.

Drunkard arrested: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for driving under the influence of alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the drunkard was driving recklessly on a main road in Mubarak Al-Kabir and when a police officer ordered him to stop he stepped on the gas pedal and escaped.
However, before he was forced to pull over, he ended up colliding with 14 vehicles including a police patrol car.
Eyewitness reports said the motorists whose cars were damaged got out of their vehicles and tried to beat the man, but timely intervention of police saved his life. The drunkard has been referred to authorities.
