KUWAIT CITY, July 3: An Asian housemaid committed suicide insider her sponsor’s house in Jahra recently.
Security operatives and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information on the incident.  When they arrived at the scene, they discovered the housemaid was already dead, so they referred her remains to Forensics.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances which prompted the housemaid to end her own life.

Wanted man held: Hawalli securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti man, who was sentenced to ten-year imprisonment in a kidnapping incident, and referred him to authorities.

Thieves take cash: Thieves broke into a Kuwaiti man’s house in Qairawan area and stole KD 1,200. The man filed a complaint in the area police station, saying thieves broke open the outer door of the house to enter and stole the money kept inside a room.
Police are looking for the thieves.

Dazed by eye disease: The Operations Room received a distress call late Friday saying a man was lying unconscious in a house in Al-Qasr area in Jahra. Paramedics promptly rushed to the scene and on examining the man, found that he was suffering from ophthalmia and was not unconscious. Paramedics gave him treatment on the spot and did not refer him to hospital.

2 hurt in fire: Two workers sustained injuries and burns all over their bodies in a fire that broke out in a farm in Abdali on Saturday. The duo was referred to hospital while Abdali firefighters put out the fire, say sources.

3 hurt in accident: Three Kuwaitis suffered from multiple injuries when the vehicles they were riding collided with each other on the Sixth Ring Road opposite Saad Al-Abdullah area recently.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the accident.  They referred the injured to Jahra Hospital. 
A case was registered and investigations are underway to determine the actual circumstances leading to the accident.

Drunkard in mishap: Farwaniya securitymen have arrested a 30-year-old Kuwaiti for consuming alcohol and causing an accident in Ardiya.
Security sources revealed the Kuwaiti was driving along a road in Ardiya when he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a car parked on the side of the road. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the Kuwaiti was under the influence of alcohol.
A case was registered and the Kuwaiti was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Iranian cuts fingers: An Iranian expatriate in his 20s chopped off his fingers by accident, while he was cutting an iron inside a boat in Abdullah Port. Securitymen accompanied paramedics to the scene, and the man who was bleeding profusely was transferred to the Sabah hospital for treatment.
