KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Upon a request from its Egyptian counterpart the Kuwaiti Interpol is said to have arrested an Egyptian man who is wanted by law in his country in connection with several financial frauds, reports Arrouiah daily.
According to reports police acting on information set a trap for the man and caught him inside his apartment in Farwaniya.
The man has been handed over to the Kuwaiti Interpol and preparations are underway to hand him over to the Egyptian authorities.

Duo stab each other: Two bedoun who stabbed each other during a fight in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh have been admitted to a hospital, reports Arrouiah daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the victims were taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Police investigations are ongoing.

Deportation in flesh trade: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested 19 people - three Bangladeshi pimps and 16 prostitutes - during a raid on a suspect residential building, reports Arrouiah daily.
All those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.

Drunkards harass public: Police have arrested three bedoun youth for drinking alcohol and causing nuisance to residents of Hassawi, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The daily quoting security sources an unidentified person called police when the drunkards harassed everyone going to a grocery shop in the area.
They have been referred to the authorities.

Inmates hurt in fight: Three inmates of the Central Prison who suffered injuries during a fight that broke out among them were referred to the prison hospital for treatment, reports Al-Dar daily.
Investigations are going on to find the cause of the fight. A case was registered.

Fire extinguishers stolen: Jahra securitymen are looking for thieves who stole 13 fire extinguishers from a girls’ intermediate school in Al-Qairawan area, reports Alam Al-Yawm daily.

Bootlegger held: The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentified Asian man for possessing 32 bottles of booze, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The man has been referred to the authorities.
