Tears free ‘thieves’

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Security guards of a well-known shopping center have arrested two Lebanese girls believed to be in their late teens for shoplifting, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the suspects were caught by the CCTV camera of the shopping center.
They were seen hiding cosmetics in their clothes. The owner of the shop is said to have let go the girls when they burst in tears, apologized and promised never to commit the crime.

Cash stolen
: Police are looking for an unidentified person who allegedly broke into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Al-Nahdha and escaped with KD 5,000 cash, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.

Woman insulted: A Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station Saturday against a male compatriot who allegedly insulted her when their cars collided with each other at an undisclosed location.
The woman provided police with a detailed description of the Kuwaiti man, as well as his vehicle.  A case was registered and police will summon the man for questioning.
