Maid admits stealing cash, jewelery Musical instruments, computers stolen from school

KUWAIT CITY, June 25: The Jahra police have arrested an unidentified maid for stealing money and jewelry from her sponsor, reports Al-Anba daily.
After her arrest the maid admitted to stealing KD 8,000 from her sponsor and told police she had kept the money and the jewelry for safe keeping with her friend.
She also told the police she had requested the friend not to open her briefcase containing the loot.
Security sources said after the sponsor filed a theft case with the area police station, securitymen began investigations with the maid and other employees working for the household.
When police confronted the friend, she admitted to receiving the briefcase but said she did not know what it contains.
Meanwhile, police are looking for unidentified persons for stealing musical instruments and computers from a private school in Al-Reggae, reports Al-Al-Shahed daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identity the culprits.
In another development, one bank customer is planning to sue an unidentified bank for leaking secret information to an unidentified daily, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the daily said secret information about the customer was leaked to the media. The daily claimed this is not the first time that information about customers has been leaked to the press thus damaging the reputation of the banking system in Kuwait.
