Woman abducted, raped in desert

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: A female Asian expatriate in her 20s filed a case in Jahra police station against three youths who forced her into a car, drove to a desert area and raped her.
The woman narrated she was going to dump garbage from her sponsor’s flat inside a commercial building in the area when the youths kidnapped and raped her. She added the suspects later brought her to one of the streets in the area and escaped. She provided police with their description, while a case has been registered for investigation to arrest the suspects.

Ex-lover harassed: A young woman has filed a complaint at Qairawan Police Station against her ex-lover for harassing her over the phone.
The complainant told police she ended her relationship with the suspect when he started abusing and insulting her. However, the suspect has been calling her and sending her messages, threatening to harm her if she refuses to reconcile with him. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to verify the complaint.

Ex-wife threatened:  A Kuwaiti woman has lodged a complaint at Naeem Police Station against her ex-husband, who has allegedly been sending her threatening SMS messages.
Afraid that her ex-husband might harm her, the woman reported the incident to police. She showed the messages to the security officers to substantiate her claim.
A case was registered and police will summon the woman’s ex-husband for questioning.

Asian run over:
An Asian man sustained multiple injuries and fractures when a speeding vehicle knocked him down while crossing a road in Fahaheel Tuesday.
The Operations Room dispatched a team of securitymen and paramedics to the location after receiving information on the accident. When the rescuers arrived at the scene, they found the Asian lying on the road with fractures and injuries in different parts of his body. They took him to Adan Hospital.
Preliminary investigations revealed the driver of the vehicle fled immediately after the accident. Eyewitnesses gave police a detailed description of the vehicle, leading to the arrest of a Kuwaiti, in his 20s, a few hours after an intensified search operation. He was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
