Flan Mexicano
Ingredients:
1 cup caramel;
1 cup whole milk;
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk;
3 eggs; 3 egg yolks;
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice;
1 tbsp grated orange peel;
1 tbsp vanilla extract;
1 tbsp cornstarch;
1 cup heavy cream
Method: Pour the caramel syrup into a flan mold. Preheat oven to 350° F. Blend all the ingredients into a blender until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture over the cooled caramel syrup. Place the flan mold in the roasting pan. Fill roasting pan with boiling water to reach halfway. Bake in the preheated oven until the center of the flan is set. Let the flan cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
