The inheritor reaps whatever his ancestor has collected
SHROUDS have no pockets. This is an old adage, which serves as a reminder to anyone who eagerly and greedily accumulates wealth throughout his lifetime only to leave all his money to his inheritors. We often hear the elderly say, “The inheritor reaps whatever his ancestor has collected.” This is an accurate and frank statement. Nobody dares ask the inheritor how he amassed wealth.
On the contrary, everybody wants to inquire about the testator’s wealth despite the fact that he left it after death. People ask all sorts of questions. They want to know where he got his wealth and how did he acquire it. This statement is just rhetoric and it is full of nuances. However, we hope it conveys a clear message to those who steal or engage in corruption in their lifetime. Forgive us!
