Woman raped, man robbed ... Don’t open doors to strangers
KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Police are looking for two men for impersonating police and kidnapping, robbing and raping an Asian woman and robbing another Asian man, reports Al-Anba daily.
In the first incident an unidentified Indonesian woman in her complaint to the police said two men rang the bell and when she answered the door the men claimed they were police. Then they forced their entry into the house, tied her hands and feet and stole KD 80.
A short while later another Asian man filed a similar complaint accusing two men of knocking at the door of his apartment. They claimed they were police and said they had a warrant to search his house.
The men then beat the victim, tied him and stole from him KD 350. According to sources the two thefts were committed 30 minutes apart.
Man killed for KD 11: Police have arrested an Egyptian man in connection with the murder of an Asian guard working at a farm in Abdali, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to security sources following the discovery of the murder police took into custody several people on suspicion and during interrogation the Egyptian admitted to killing the man over money dispute.
It has been reported the victim owed the suspect KD 11 which he could not pay. The suspect has been referred to the authorities.
Earlier it was reported the death was discovered by the victim’s sponsor when he went to the farm and alerted police.
Drug addict, wanted too: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti youth for possessing narcotic pills and a quantity of drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.
When the youth was taken to a police station, securitymen discovered he was also wanted by law in connection with civil and criminal charges.
According to reports the youth was driving along a road in Fahaheel and when police ordered him to pull over, he abandoned the vehicle on the side of the road and tried in vain to escape on foot. However, he was chased and arrested.
Police then searched him and found cigarettes filled with hashish and a quantity of narcotic pills. The youth was also under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest.
Juvenile runs over boy: Police are looking for a juvenile for driving the car belonging to a relative without his permission and running over a nine-year-old boy who was on his way to a cooperative society, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The victim has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital. It has been reported the juvenile and two of his friends who were in the car when the accident took place abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot.
