KUWAIT CITY, June 8: The Ahmadi police have arrested three youths for kidnapping an Asian housemaid, driving her to a desert and raping her successively, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting security sources said as the trio bundled the victim in their vehicle, an unidentified Kuwaiti woman witnessed the incident and informed the police and provided them with the car plate number of the ‘rapists’.
Without going into details the daily said the youths have been referred to the authorities.

Elderly woman drunk: Police have arrested a 53-year-old Kuwaiti woman for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to reports the woman was ordered to pull over for reckless driving in the Capital governorate and discovered she was under the influence of alcohol.
Police have also reportedly seized from her car two bottles of whisky and referred her and the contraband to the authorities.

ID a bit too old: Police have arrested an unidentified Jordanian woman who is believed to be in her 20s for violating residence laws, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily added during a routine check in Messilah the woman submitted a civil ID which was issued 20 years ago. She has been referred to the authorities for further investigation.

Car mounts another: An unidentified motorist driving a four-wheel drive, lost control of his vehicle and mounted on a Japanese car inside the parking lot of the Kuwait Stock Exchange market, reports Al-Rai daily.
No casualties have been reported but police are investigating the incident.
