Kuwaiti man found dead in car
KUWAIT CITY, June 7: A Kuwaiti was found dead in his car in Fintas two days ago.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location immediately after receiving information on the incident. After examining the Kuwaiti’s body, the paramedics concluded he died of natural causes. They then referred the Kuwaiti’s remain to Forensics, while police lifted fingerprints from the scene to start investigations and ensure there is no foul play involved.
Maid in suicide bid: A Filipino maid threatened to throw herself from the third floor of her sponsor’s residence in Ardiya after a disagreement between the maid and the sponsor’s wife.
Acting on information received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry in that regard, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene and managed to talk the maid into giving up the idea. A case was later registered against her in Ardiya police station.
Woman caught drunk: A drunken Kuwaiti woman in her early 50s was apprehended by securitymen on patrol in the Capital Governorate in possession of two bottles of imported liquor.
Security sources said the patrol officers noticed an erratic movement of the woman’s vehicle and ordered her to pull over for checking. Two bottles of liquor were discovered after the officers went on to search inside the car. During interrogation, they learnt the woman was drunk. She has since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
Alcohol numbs citizen: A Kuwaiti citizen in his mid-20s who was found unconscious inside his vehicle was taken into custody after the police officers discovered he was heavily drunk.
Securitymen and paramedics reportedly hurried to the scene after the Operations Room had been notified about the incident. However, the team discovered the man was in stupor due to high alcohol intake, so he was referred to a police station for further investigation.
In a similar story, police apprehended a 34-year old drunken Kuwaiti man who lost consciousness inside his car in Salmiya Saturday. The officers rushed to the scene, alongside paramedics, immediately after the Operations Room was alerted about the episode. Upon arrival, the officers woke the man up and later discovered he was heavily intoxicated.
Co-op damaged in fight: Several items were damaged when two youths threw equipment displayed for sale inside a cooperative society at each other during a fight in Saad Al-Abdullah area.
Security guards at the co-op intervened and escorted the troublemakers to the police station, where a case was registered against them.
