3 stabbed in Jahra diwaniya free-for-all
KUWAIT CITY, June 5: Three youths were injured in clashes among 13 youths at a diwaniya in Waha Saturday morning.
Jahra security operatives, in the company of paramedics, were prompt to the location to assist the situation, after the Operations Room was alerted in that regard, and the injured people were referred to Jahra hospital for treatment.
A security source said five youths were arguing with seven others inside the diwaniya, which escalated to exchange of blows, using sharp objects as well. Three persons were stabbed in the process.
Meanwhile, the rest of the feuding party had fled the scene before police arrived to disperse the crowd, but the case has been registered for investigation to arrest them.
Egyptian attacked: An Egyptian national in his early 40s sustained a cut to his forehead, after he was attacked by two youths on the Restaurants Street in Salmiya. He was referred to the Mubarak Hospital by paramedics for treatment.
