I was working as a security guard in a company and drawing KD90 per month. I came to Kuwait on a two-year contract with a government company. The period is now almost over 4-years. With the consent of the current employer, I have found another job. I would like to know the procedure to transfer my residence.

Answer: It seems that you are on a government contract visa. In such a case you can’t transfer your residence to the private sector until you complete 5 years, unless you are a university graduate.
So you have to wait one year more before you can transfer.
