Kuwaiti woman caught forging ‘tijari’ visit visas for 3 Indians Teenaged girl arrested for spying

KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Personnel from the General Immigration Department have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti woman for forging three commercial (tijari) visit visas for Indians, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to a security source the woman is owner of a company and she allegedly forged the signature of the Director-General of the General Immigration Department Lt Major Kamel Al-Awadhi.
She was caught when an employee of the Hawalli Immigration Department suspected the authenticity of the signature.
The woman was arrested and during interrogation she admitted to the charge. She has been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Girl held in spying: The State Security police have taken into custody a 17-year-old girl for allegedly spying for a neighboring country, reports Al-Rai daily.
However, during interrogation the girl denied knowledge of any wrongdoing. She added she received instructions from her father who even forced her into a civil marriage with a Kuwaiti youth against her will.
The daily did not give more details.

‘Chilli’ challenge: An Arab national in his 30s experienced breathing difficulty, after he challenged his friend by consuming a large amount of pepper in Hawalli Monday evening.
Rescue officers from the Operations Room promptly responded to a distress call in that regard, and paramedics treated the victim, while counseling him against future occurrence. The officers gathered the friend put more pepper than he could consume, which ultimately led to the problem.

Clothes shop looted: An Indian expatriate in his 30s told police officers in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh that thieves raided his shop and stole male clothing worth KD 100, in addition to KD 280 cash. Criminal Evidences Men inspected the shop and lifted fingerprints to arrest the suspects. The case was registered.

Youth stabbed in hand: A Kuwaiti youth in his 20s was stabbed in the hand, with an additional fracture to the left foot, during clashes with two Bedouns in Sulaibiya. Securitymen accompanied paramedics to the scene, after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was notified about the episode, and the injured youth was carried to the Farwaniya Hospital for treatment. A case was registered against the other participants, who reportedly fled the scene at the sight of police.
