KUWAIT CITY, May 28: Two of the three-man gang of Bedoun have been arrested and referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for stealing new cars from the parking lot of the Capital Traffic Department building, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police acting on reports about theft of cars formed a security force and arrested one of the suspects when the latter was trying to change the number plate from the car he was driving onto another car.
The man tried in vain to escape. However, he was chased and arrested in front of his home in Sulaibiya. During interrogation the Bedoun admitted to stealing cars and changing their number plates with the help of two accomplices.
The source added the securitymen based on the information provided by the arrested man went to their home and arrested one of them while the other managed to escape.
