Kuwaiti families to visit martyrs tombs in Egypt
A delegation representing the families of Kuwaiti martyrs left here on Friday to pay a three-day visit to Egypt in order to see the tombs of their kin in Suez, east of Cairo, a statement by the Kuwaiti Army General Staff said. It added that this visit was greatly welcomed by the Kuwaiti army Chief of Staff Lieut. Gen Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah and at the instructions of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
In fulfillment of the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chief of Staff Lieut. Gen Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah issued instructions to the effect of sending families of Kuwaiti martyrs who took part in October war to Egypt, the statement said. It added that this was made in coordination with the Martyrs and Prisoners of War Bureau of the Morale Guidance and Public Relations Department and Military Contact Bureau of the Kuwaiti embassy in Egypt.
