Maid screams scare away rapist Drunk Kuwaiti youth held for abducting girls at knife-point

KUWAIT CITY, May 27: A drunk Kuwaiti youth who kidnapped two girls at knife-point in front of the Scientific Center was arrested by Hawally traffic police, reports Al-Shahid daily.
As soon as the Operations Room received information, the details of the car and its occupants were circulated to all police patrols and eventually Hawally traffic police managed to find the youth. It is reported that he had detonators and tear gas bombs with him.
The culprit was referred to authorities and investigations are going on.

Rape bid foiled: An Asian maid registered a case at Adan Police Station accusing an unidentified person of molesting her, reports Al-Rai daily.
The woman said while she was going to purchase some items for her sponsor, a man stopped her and attempted to rape her. The complainant said when she yelled loudly for help, the culprit ran away. Police are looking for the suspect.

Woman harassed: A Kuwaiti woman filed a case at Jahra Police Station accusing a compatriot youth of harassing her, reports Al-Anba daily. The complainant said while she was shopping at a commercial complex, a youth stopped her and attempted to give her his phone number.

Pakistani robbed: Some unidentified men wearing disdashas attacked a Pakistani expatriate and stole KD 470 from him, reports Al-Shahid daily.
Acting on information, securitymen rushed to the scene of the crime and found the Pakistani. A case was registered at Fahaheel Police Station and securitymen are now looking for the culprits.

21 illegals held: Securitymen launched a  comprehensive campaign in Jleeb and Salmiya areas and arrested 21 expatriates of various nationalities for violating the residence law, reports Al-Shahid daily. The violators were referred to authorities for further legal action.

Woman insults officer: A drunk Kuwaiti woman was referred to Salmiya Police Station for insulting traffic police, reports Al-Rai daily. The woman was stopped at a check point in the area and when police asked her to show her ID, she refused and started insulting the officers.

Sim cards seized: Security guards at the Central Prison foiled an Egyptian man’s attempt to smuggle 40 Sim cards into the prison, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Egyptian went to visit his friend at the prison and guards who frisked him found the Sim cards hidden in his socks.
The man was referred to Sulaibiya Police Station for investigation.

43 bottles seized:
Ahmadi securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate for trafficking in alcohol and recovered 43 bottles of local brew from him, reports Al-Anba daily.
The culprit was caught in Mahboula area and was referred to authorities for further investigation.

Syrian arrested: Securitymen arrested a Syrian expatriate who was wanted by law for issuing a dud cheque worth KD 3,500, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a source, securitymen laid a trap and arrested the culprit in Al-Sharq area and referred him to authorities for further action.

Account hacked: An Asian expatriate lodged a police complaint accusing a hacker of stealing KD 400 from his bank through the Internet, reports Al-Anba daily. Police are investigating the case.

Blaze hurts 5: Five people, including two firefighters, were asphyxiated in a fire that erupted in a building in Hawally, reports Al-Rai daily. Sources say an electric short-circuit caused the fire.
