Lovers in ‘shaking’ car Pharmacists nabbed in major drug bust

KUWAIT CITY, May 24:Police arrested a GCC youth and his Asian girlfriend for behaving indecently inside a car in Jahra, reports Al-Rai daily.
The lovers were arrested by police patrolmen who found the car parked in an unusual manner and saw it shaking.

Man rapes Asian colleague: Police arrested an Arab man for raping his colleague, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Arab reportedly visited his Asian colleague and offered her money for having ‘fun’ with him and when she refused, he raped her.
The woman lodged a complaint with police following which the Arab was arrested and referred to authorities.

Pharmacists nabbed : Meawhile Patrolmen in a crackdown in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Sunday evening arrested an Indian expatriate in possession of two fingers of hashish and forged 10 dinars currency worth KD 800.
The man was sent to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit apprehended a Bedoun for trafficking in drugs, after the undercover officers failed to lure the suspect into selling drugs to them.
Based on a tip-off received by Director General of the Anti-drug General Department Major General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khalifa about activities of the suspects, a team of detectives was formed to nab the suspect. However, he declined to sell drugs to the undercover officers.
Armed with a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution, the officers raided the suspect’s flat in Hawalli and found 1,000 narcotic pills, in addition to other intoxicants, and he confessed to selling drugs.
Meanwhile, the suspect went on to name his accomplice as a 60-year old Bedoun who supplied him with drugs, so the officers trapped the second suspect in a deal purchase 1000 narcotic pills, and he was arrested while delivering the drugs.
In the meantime, investigation led to the third suspect, an Indian who worked in Al-Bahri Pharmacy in Shaab, after detectives ordered the second suspect to ask him to deliver 2,000 narcotic pills for KD 3,000. He was also arrested after the transaction.
The Indian named his partner in crime as an Egyptian woman pharmacist, who worked in the same company.
He confessed the woman also forged prescription forms and changed old prescriptions, in order that she might obtain large consignments of drugs without prescription from doctors.
Sheikh Khalifa ordered the immediate arrest of the woman from the pharmacy. According to security sources, the woman denied the charges at first, but she admitted to the crime after the officers provided evidence.

Man assaults ex-wife: An Arab woman filed a case against her ex-husband who reportedly assaulted her Sunday evening. According to the woman, the suspect forced entry to her home and assaulted her, causing bruises all over her body. She added the suspect fled the house immediately after the act. A case has since been registered against the ex-husband, while police are on the lookout for him.

Biker run over, killed
: Police are looking for a hit-and-run motorist who ran over a Kuwaiti fire officer and killed him on the spot, reports Al-Shahid daily.
A police source said the victim, who held the rank of a major, was riding a motorbike along the King Fahd Expressway when a speeding motorist hit him and he fell on the ground. The motorist then ran over the major, killing him on the spot, and escaped.
The officer’s remains were referred to Forensics. 

Youths shoot soldier:  Police are looking for a youth who allegedly shot at a soldier working in the Ministry of Defense, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said three youths were traveling in a car and when the soldier suddenly swerved at their car, the youths got infuriated and one of them shot at him before speeding up. The soldier was admitted to hospital, but the daily did not give details about his injury.
