Man catches stranger trying to rape his wife Booze party ends in fight
KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Police are looking for an unidentified person who broke into a Kuwaiti man’s apartment in Qairawan and attempted to rape his wife, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said when the Kuwaiti returned home unexpectedly, he found a stranger attempting to molest his wife.
The intruder somehow managed to escape but the husband pursued him and noted down the plate number of his car.
The wife said the intruder used to harass her and knocked at her door that day. She said she was shocked to see him and before she could react, he pushed her and attempted to molest her.
Bangladeshi on forged passport: Officials at the Kuwait International Airport seized a Bangladeshi passenger coming from Dhaka for attempting to enter the country on a forged passport, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspect admitted that he was deported and bought a passport to re-enter the country.
Juveniles attack caretaker: Police arrested three juveniles and are looking for three others for attacking an Egyptian caretaker of a building in Jabriya and damaging the glass façade of the building, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Booze party … :Police rushed to an apartment in Salwa after receiving information about a fight that erupted among some people who were attending a party and got drunk, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
But by the time police arrived, everyone else escaped, except a 17-year-old boy who had suffered deep cuts.
It is reported that the juvenile took the apartment on rent in his mother’s name and refused to give information about others who attended the party.
Cars damaged: Police arrested a Kuwaiti youth for crashing into a number of cars on the Canada Dry Street in Shuwaikh and referred him to authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. A police source said the youth had psychological problems.
Hawkers nabbed: Jahra police, in coordination with teams from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, launched a comprehensive campaign against street vendors and confiscated tons of subsidized goods offered through ration cards, reports Al-Anba daily. The hawkers have been referred to authorities.
