Eve teasers’ heads shaved; 80 porno CDs seized

KUWAIT CITY, May 21:  Criminal Investigation Department officials arrested 64 youths, including Kuwaitis and expatriates, for harassing and molesting female students outside the Basic Training College and tonsured their heads, took their photo and made them write a pledge that they will never get involved in such activities again, reports Al-Rai daily.
The arrests were made during a two-day campaign and all the youths were referred to the Criminal Investigation Department, note sources.

80 porno CDs seized: Farwaniya police have arrested an Asian man for possessing 80 pornographic CDs and selling them to people in cafes, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Asian, who reportedly specialized in copying and selling porn CDs, was arrested when he was trying to sell them at a cafe in Jleeb Shuyoukh. He is currently in the custody of Criminal Investigation Department.

Indian attempts suicide: A 36-year-old Indian man attempted to commit suicide by immolating himself in his house in Block 5, Sulaibiya, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The man reportedly suffered second and third degree burns and is currently in the intensive care unit of Farwaniya Hospital.

Student’s cellphones stolen: Police are looking for a thief who broke into a private school in Hawalli, entered the office of the Assistant Director and stole cell phones belonging to students, reports Al-Shahid daily.
According to a security source, when the Assistant Director informed Hawalli Police Station, securitymen rushed to the scene  and called in Criminal Evidence Department officials to lift finger prints in a bid to identify the culprit.

Six sheep stolen: Police are looking for a thief who broke into an animal pen in Wafra area and stole six sheep, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The 55-year-old Kuwaiti owner of the pen filed a report at Wafra Police Station and said when he and his Asian worker entered the pen, they noticed the disappearance of the sheep.

Stolen vehicle found: Securitymen found a vehicle which was stolen three months ago from Sabah Al-Salem area and sent it to the police garage, reports Al-Shahid daily.
Sources say police patrols on routine duty on Wafra Road noticed a jeep parked on the road side and on checking their records, found it was a stolen vehicle.
Criminal Evidence Department men have lifted fingerprints from the vehicle to identify the culprit, add sources.
