Fees of Indian schools to be on par with Pakistani schools Issue discussed with Al-Ghais
KUWAIT CITY, May 19: The General Administration for Private Education has reportedly agreed with owners of Indian schools to adjust fees to be equal to those of Pakistani schools, owners of the Indian schools told Al-Anba daily. The owners revealed they discussed the issue with Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs Fahad Al-Ghais, who referred their concerns to the Undersecretaries Council for approval.
They pointed out ministerial resolution number 107/2008, which was released on March 19, 2009 on increasing the fees of Arabic, Pakistani, Indian and Philippine schools, along with the salary increment for teachers, included discrepancies between the Pakistani and Indian schools.
“More than a year has passed since our discussion on the necessary adjustments. The Indian schools have been at the losing end, considering we perform the same tasks compared to the Pakistani schools. We want our fees to be equal to those of Pakistani schools,” the owners told Al-Ghais.
