Compatriots rape Kuwaiti woman
KUWAIT CITY, May 15: A 20-year old Kuwaiti woman reported at the Salmiya Police Station that two male compatriots raped her inside an apartment within the vicinity. She informed the police she was having an affair with one of the suspects, who had long abandoned his family residence for another apartment. Police have detained the suspects while detectives are investigating the case.
Drunkard flees police: A drunken 40-year old Kuwaiti citizen took to his heels when he heard the siren of a police car in Salmiya Friday. The officers were rushing to the scene after receiving information that the man was not in order, but he fled immediately he heard the siren.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene before the police came had already tested and confirmed the man was drunk, after he was found lying on the ground. The officers are still tracing him with his data for a possible prosecution, although they couldn’t catch him.
Asian held with liquor: In compliance with directives from the Ahmadi Security Chief Major General Abdul-Fatah Ali, security personnel from the command arrested an Asian national in possession of 20 bottles of local liquor.
The patrol team spotted the suspect while driving around Abu Halifa and verified his civil ID card. They went on to carry out a search inside the car after he became confused, and it led to discovery of the hidden items. Police have since detained him for prosecution.
Police imposters nabbed: Security operatives attached to the Ahmadi Command arrested two teenage Arabs who specialized in robbing unsuspecting Asians of their possessions by impersonating detective officers. The suspects confessed to the crime, and they were referred to the concerned authority for prosecution.
Missing girl caught: Security patrol team from Ahmadi apprehended a young woman Friday for absconding. The officers were on a routine duty when the suspect aroused their suspicion, and they discovered she was wanted for absconding when they checked her civil ID. A case was registered against her, and she was later referred to the concerned authority.
