KUWAIT CITY, May 12: A Kuwaiti youth lodged a complaint at the Mahboula Police Station against a stranger he found inside his apartment with the complainant’s wife. The police went to the scene and arrested the stranger and the wife.
The woman denied having any relationship with the suspect. She claimed the man only came to the apartment without her knowledge, and probably, with the intention to rape her, while the suspect denied the woman’s claim. The police have registered a case against the stranger and the woman for further investigation.

Forged ‘Istimara’: Securitymen have arrested an Asian for submitting a forged learner’s permit to the Driving Test Department.
Security sources revealed the department head discovered the forged learner’s permit and referred the holder, an Asian, to Jahra Police Station.  During interrogations, the Asian disclosed he failed the driving test, but another Asian approached him when he went out of the building and offered to help him obtain the permit provided he pays KD200.  As he was keen on obtaining the permit, he paid the amount and the other Asian handed the permit with forged seals to him later.  He told police that he discovered the forgery only when the authorities summoned him for questioning.
A case was registered and the Asian was referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.  Police have also intensified their efforts to arrest the other Asian who allegedly forged the permit.

Teen abducted, threatened: Three teenagers tried to gouge out the eyes of a 17-year-old youth, after they attempted to rape him. The victim is said to have been abducted from Naim and taken to an isolated area in Sulaibiya near Jahra.
Security sources said there was a misunderstanding between the abductors, the victim and his brother, and they kept trailing the victim until he was abducted and carried to the deserted area, where the suspects threatened to rape and gouge out his eyes, and the victim begged them until he was released.
Meanwhile, the abductors asked the victim to warn his brother, or else they would repeat the act and ensure they rape him. The victim headed straight to the Sulaibiya Police Station and reported the incident, while police have arrested the suspects for investigation.

Student assaulted: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 40s filed a case at the Ardiya police station against a teacher who allegedly assaulted his son at a school in the same area Monday. The complainant supported his claim with a medical report stating bruises at different parts of his son’s body. The teacher will be summoned for investigation.

Asian robbed by trio: Securitymen arrested a gang of three Bedoun, who took KD 50 cash and cell phone belonging to an Asian national by force in Firdous.
Acting on information received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry about the robbery, patrol officers combed the area and arrested the suspects, who initially tried to escape on foot, as they saw the officers approaching. They were referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
