KUWAIT CITY, May 2:  Farwaniya securitymen have arrested an Asian for consuming alcohol, with 50 bottles of liquor in his possession.
While patrolling the area, the securitymen noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle, so they signaled for the driver to stop for routine inspection.  When they approached the vehicle, the securitymen discovered the driver — an Asian — was under the influence of alcohol.  They also searched his vehicle where they found 50 bottles of liquor.
A case was registered and the Asian was referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.

Girl missing: A Kuwaiti has filed a missing person report on his 16-year-old daughter who left their house in Qairawan a few days ago and has not returned since then.
The Kuwaiti told police he tried to call their relatives and friends to inquire if they happen to know their whereabouts but none of them has heard from her.  He provided police with a detailed description of his daughter to ease the search procedures.

Husband robs wife: A Kuwaiti woman has lodged a complaint at Qairawan Police Station against her husband who allegedly stole KD 10,000 from her.
According to the complainant, her husband threatened her with a sharp object and forced her to sign a draft of her dowry, took her civil ID and fled from their house in Nahda.
A case was registered and police will summon the husband for questioning to verify the complainant’s claim.
