KUWAIT CITY, April 25 : Armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, the Farwaniya police recently raided several suspicious places and arrested an Egyptian pimp and two Indonesian prostitutes and referred them to authorities, reports Al-Dar daily.
During the raid police also arrested two Asians for manufacturing alcohol and seized 500 bottles of booze.
In other news, police are said to have arrested two Sri Lankans for selling medicine to abort fetuses.

Not paying fees: Police are looking for a well-known actress, identified as F., for doing plastic surgery and not paying the fees, reports Al-Anba daily.
The actress allegedly gave some or the other excuse after each session and now she is said to have changed her phone number.

Dead in loo: The remains of a 43-year-old Kuwaiti man have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the victim was found in the toilet of a mosque in Salmiya. However, police believe the man might have died of overdose of drugs.

Youth drowns: A Kuwaiti youth, whose identity has not been disclosed, drowned in sea at the Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine City in Khairan, reports Arrouiah daily.
The victim was swimming with a friend and was allegedly swept away by a strong undercurrent. The friend reportedly swam to safety.
According to eye witness reports the victim’s body was fished out of the waters seven hours after the mishap.

Cables stolen: Police are looking for unidentified burglars for stealing electrical cables worth thousands of dinars from a project site in Hawalli, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints from the site to identify the culprits.
Meanwhile, police have taken into custody the guard of the project for interrogation.
