59 expats held in vice roundup Trio caught selling employer’s fuel

KUWAIT CITY, April 24: Ahmadi police launched intensive campaigns against law violators and arrested 59 expatriates, including six Asians, for offering illegal overseas call services, as well as selling pirated CDs containing pornographic material, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police confiscated communication devices, a computer and large number of pirated CDs and referred the offenders to authorities.

Thieves caught: Police arrested three Bangladeshis for selling their employer’s diesel to truck drivers, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police patrol on routine duty in Salmi saw the Bangladeshis selling diesel from their fuel tanker. During interrogations, the suspects admitted that they transported diesel to their company in Iraq, but kept some quantity aside for selling after they returned to Kuwait.

Stolen car burnt:
Police are looking for a miscreant who stole a car and set is ablaze in an open ground in Sulaibiya, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Firefighters put out the fire, but the vehicle was completely damaged.
