KUWAIT CITY, April 21: Security operatives from Sulaibikhat, during their recent campaign in Jleeb Shuyoukh, have freed four Asian women who were kidnapped by a gang of Asian pimps to engage in flesh trade. The suspects were referred to the concerned authority for necessary action, while further investigation uncovered the hide out of the rest of the gang. Police managed to arrest 11 Asian males and females from suspicious flats.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated development, acting on a tip-off, an Egyptian trucker who smuggled drugs from Iraq into the country through the Abdalli border exit was apprehended by security officers. The Director of Anti-Drug General Department Brigadier Ahmad Al-Khalifa directed anti-narcotic officers to bring the suspect to justice, after he received information about his activities.
Meanwhile, a team of detectives was formed to follow up the suspect, who had then traveled to Iraq. He was arrested at the Abdalli border as soon as he arrived in Kuwait a week later. Security officers recovered 3,000 narcotic pills during a search they carried out inside the truck. The suspect admitted he smuggled drugs and related materials whenever he returned from a trip, so he was referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.

In another incident police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for attempting to break into the apartment of an unidentified female compatriot in Jabriya while he was under the influence of alcohol, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to security sources when the woman heard violent knocks on the front door of her house, she called police.
However, police investigations revealed the man was earlier in love with the woman and wanted to renew the relationship.
